QR Codes

QR codes let customers scan to open your digital menu and place orders. You generate them from the admin and place them on tables or at the entrance.

Where to generate

  • Admin → Table Management → QR Code (or Admin → QR Code in some setups).
  • You can create one QR per table (e.g. Table 1, Table 2) so orders are linked to the right table.

Steps

  1. Add or select a table (name/number).
  2. Generate the QR code for that table. The system creates a unique link that opens the menu (and may pass the table ID for dine-in).
  3. Download or print the QR image. You can print from the browser or save the image and add it to your own signage.
  4. Place the QR on the table (tent, stand, or sticker) so customers can scan easily.

What the customer sees

  • Scanning the QR opens the restaurant’s menu in the browser (no app install).
  • They browse, add to cart, and place an order (Dine-in / Takeaway / Delivery).
  • For dine-in, the order can be associated with that table so staff know where to serve.

Tips

  • Lighting: Ensure QR codes are well lit and not damaged so phones can scan quickly.
  • Size: Print large enough for a comfortable scan from a short distance.
  • Menu link: You can also share the menu link directly (e.g. for social media or takeaway) from Settings or the header (e.g. “Menu link” or “Generate menu link”).
