Add Menu
Use Add Menu to create and edit menu items, categories, prices, images, and descriptions. What you set here is what customers see when they scan the table QR.
Menu structure
- Categories: e.g. Starters, Mains, Drinks. Organize items so customers can browse easily.
- Items: Each item has a name, price, optional image, description, and can have options (e.g. size, add-ons) if configured.
Add Menu page (overview)
- Categories (left or top): List of menu categories. Use Add Category (or the category menu) to create or edit categories (e.g. Starters, Mains, Drinks, Desserts).
- Menu items list: All items in the selected category (or all items). Search to find an item. Use the three-dots menu on an item to Edit or Delete. Add Menu Item opens the Add Menu Item wizard.
- Pagination: If you have many items, use the pager at the bottom to move between pages.
Add Menu Item wizard (all 6 steps)
When you click Add Menu Item (or Edit on an existing item), a drawer opens with a 6-step wizard:

| 1 | Basic Information | Name, description, category, price. Essential details customers see first. |
| 2 | Visual Appeal | Image (upload or link) to make the dish stand out. |
| 3 | Add-ons & Extras | Modifiers / add-ons (e.g. extra cheese, size). Options with labels, prices, and max selectable. |
| 4 | Dietary & Health Info | Dietary tags (e.g. Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free) and any health-related info. |
| 5 | Sustainability | Sustainability or eco-related info if you use it. |
| 6 | Service Options | Availability and service options (e.g. dine-in, takeaway, delivery) for this item. |
Complete each step and use Next / Back to move. Save at the end. The item then appears on the customer menu and in Create Order.
Categories
- Add Category: Create a new category (e.g. “Mains”, “Desserts”).
- Edit category: Use the menu on a category to edit its name or order.
- Assign each menu item to a category in step 1 of the wizard so the menu is grouped logically.
Tips
- Use clear images and short descriptions to help customers choose.
- Keep prices and availability up to date so orders and kitchen are accurate.
