Reward points (customer)
If your restaurant has Reward points enabled, customers can earn points on orders and redeem them for discounts or perks.
Earning points​
- Points are usually earned when an order is completed (e.g. a certain number of points per amount spent).
- The exact rules (points per order or per currency spent) are set by the restaurant in the admin Rewards section.
Redeeming points​
- When placing an order, the customer may see an option to use reward points (e.g. “Redeem points” or a discount applied at checkout).
- Redeemed points reduce the amount to pay or unlock a reward, depending on how the venue configured it.
Viewing balance​
- Customers may see their points balance on the menu/order screen or in their order confirmation, depending on how the venue has set up the flow.
For the restaurant​
- Configure earning and redemption rules in Admin → Rewards.
- Staff can look up or adjust a customer’s points from the Quick Rewards option in the admin header (if they have permission).
