Menu and cart

Customers see your digital menu after scanning the table QR. They can browse categories, view item details, add items to the cart, and then place the order.


Browsing the menu

  • Categories (e.g. Starters, Mains, Drinks) are shown so customers can jump to a section.
  • Items show name, price, and often an image and short description.
  • Tapping an item opens a detail view where they can:
    • Choose quantity
    • Add notes (e.g. “no ice”, “extra sauce”)
    • Add to cart

Cart

  • The cart lists all added items, quantities, and total (including any applied rewards or discounts).
  • Customers can change quantity or remove items before placing the order.
  • They choose order type (Dine-in / Takeaway / Delivery) and then place order.

ScanToServe can show the menu in different themes (e.g. Bitezy, Recilo, Tastella). The owner sets the theme in Settings; customers see the same theme when they open the menu link.


For the restaurant

  • Keep items, prices, and images up to date in Add Menu.
  • Use categories to organize the menu clearly.
  • If you use daily specials or availability, update them in the admin so the customer menu stays accurate.
