Order management
Staff and admins use Order Management (and Order History) to view live orders, update their status, and handle issues.
Viewing orders
- Order list shows current (and sometimes recent) orders with status, table/customer, items, and time.
- Open Order Details (or an order row) to see the full order: items, notes, payment info, and status.
Updating order status
Typical statuses (names may vary per setup):
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Received | Order just placed. |
| Preparing | Kitchen is working on it. |
| Ready | Ready for pickup or delivery. |
| Delivered / Served | Completed. |
Steps:
- Open the order (from the list or Order Details).
- Change the status using the dropdown or buttons (e.g. Mark as Preparing, Mark as Ready).
- Save or confirm. Customers may see the update on their screen or via notification.
Order History
- Admin → Order History shows past orders with filters (date, status, etc.) and optional export/backup.
- Use it to look up a previous order or for reporting.
